About Me:
I am a 50 yr old female and I have lost my hair over the past 3 months and have hardly any left, just a few strands to see thats all.I am very upset over this and am getting more frustrated with it as time goes by, I bought a wig and am now wearing it when I go out and around as much as I can, it helps me get through sometimes, until reality sets in again when I remove the wig.Especially now that the summer is here, I find that I can't go swimming or to the parks in the heat, outside if its too hot with the wig on, its an acrylic wig, they told me it wouldn't fade in the sun but i'm noticing spots fading and plus they didn't tell me anything about the heat damaging it.The heat seems to shirvel it.I paid 400 dollars for it, so it wasn't cheap to me. Oh, its so frustrating, love to hear from other people with alopecia and if and how long it took for their hair to grow back.I was signed up here before but it seems I can't get in , its telling me that there's no account with my email address so am signing up again, Thanks.Hope to hear from someone soon.Take care all.

    Hi Carolyn,
How are thing going? I was just thinking about you, and hoping things are going better, I'm still losing at about the same rate, I thought it had slowed down but no....even tho I've had this longer than you, I'm still upset at times, so far I've lost...regrown...had great hair for awhile, than....lose again. Let me tell you It can be very exhausting. I'm still using the Minoxidil, and I'm still filling in, so far the spots are not smooth anywhere, they are spots but have regrowth in them this is something new for me. I read in your profile that you are 50 I'm 52 I first lost hair in my mid-forties after a surgery I feel some promise with this new med, but one can never tell. Have you stopped everything now? Did you have any skin irritation from the Clobetasol? I did, tho I never got a reply from the one that spoke of blisters? Anyhoo just wanted to check in and see how you are.
