    Hi, Farzana,
I know how hard it can be! I have had alopecia for about 30 years. After I became the spokesperson for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation, a lot of women were needing my help and support, so I wrote a book called, "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" There's a whole chapter on kids with alopecia. It might make you feel better. Check it out on my page -- and let me know how else I can help.

Hi nice tae meet ye im somaaya and i have had alopecia for 10 years now i have been through the stage where i have lost all my hair everywhere and now i have very good signs that the hair is coming back on my scalp. My body hair came back within a year of it falling back shame really i didnt complain about losing hair on my arms and legs lol. Well with regards to the dermatoligist i can understand your frustration as when i went tae me doctor he had nai idea wat alopecia was which was beyond me if ye ask me and I have tried alsorts of medication through the dermatologist if you want me tae be honest i think oil from back home for eg india is the best remedy. For the first time in 10 years of having alopecia i met some ppl in Yorkshire who had it and it was good just tae meet other people. I do sympathise with ye as you do not know what tae do and it is beyond y'ur control really isnt it. Dont worry y'ur little lads hair will come back but it take a wee while thats the prob when ye lose y'ur hair it takes a very long time tae recover.
