I am 55 years old and lost my hair 10 years ago. I was a stay at home Mom, Now my son is off to college. I need to go back into the work force , but I am terrified. People can be so mean. Beside the fact that I have been stress eating at the thought of working outside the house.

    Ooo, and I just noticed what day it is.... Happy Birthday! But it's a bit scary when you realise you're at that age where the candles won't fit on the cake.... :)

    It's funny, isn't it.... you hated the way you looked, but when you see a pic of yourself 20, 30 years ago, you think, "Jeez, I was fab!!"
    Not so long ago I was watching a video of a wedding, and I saw this guy on it and thought, "Hey, who's that fat bald bloke?" - then realised it was me.... ooer...! :)
