I'm a 46 year old married, mother of 2 teenagers. I'm a graphic designer. I've had Alopecia for 4 or 5 years. I'm a Hairless wonder, though nobody would know unless I told them. This is the first time I've put up a picture of me without a wig. I'm still afraid to go out without a wig -- I feel naked.

    Don't worry about feeling naked, Tori! I am the same way. There's no reason you have to show your head if you don't want to. It's sort of like showing your undies!
    I've had AU for 20 years. Not too many people have seen me without a wig!

    You know, a lot of women swear by permanent makeup, but I did it and wish I hadn't. It's not really permanent, (it fades rather quickly) and I don't think it looks very natural. I actually have an ink spot in my eye where the tattoo needle slipped and went into my iris!!
