I am a bald hairdresser who loves God, people, travelling, laughing and teens! I hope to encourage people around me to embrace their unique differences as I embrace my alopecia.
Hi Janelle - if you ever get a chance - I'd like to ask you about being a hair dresser and also having alopecia. I have been thinking about becoming a hair stylist so I can specialize in cutting wigs and also do home visits (my own business, my own way). I just wonder if it would make me a bit nutty - working on people's heads of hairs while I have none. I enjoy cutting my kids' hair, though and it doesn't bother me at all.
Well I didn't cry or vomit! So thats good! Honestly, I had to wince and deep breathe a few times, but your excitement carries you through! Good luck! It's an amazing experience!!!
