Hi. My name is Meme. Im in highschool and I play field hockey. I've had alopecia since I was four and it comes and goes all the time. I trust in God to help me through any hard times. I love my dog Rocky!
I like both brands, but to be honest between the $3.50 Ardell and $30 mylash the difference is not really one I can tell, and the hold of the lashes depends totally on the adhesive I use. The mylash last a bit longer, but I probably like the Ardell a little better- they are a little fuller and so look more natural on someone with no lashes at all. The glue I use is DUO brand.
Hope this helps! If you don't have eyebrows, I can't reccomend the fake eyebrows from Headcovers Unlimited enough (the ones that are like little mini-wigs that you glue on). They look really great and are def worth $40.
No problem! Let me know how the lashes work out for you, and if you decide to try out the eyebrows! I know target sells the Ardell lashes, and you can probably find them at any drug store as well. I have only used the eyebrows for about a month, but even if someone is an inch from my face, they would never know they're not real.
They don't irritate me at all. I usually don't even notice that they are there. I don't see any reason they would irrtate your skin unless your skin did not agree with the adhesive. To glue them on I use the eyebrow adhesive that headcovers unlimited sells.
