About Me:
I was diagnosed with AA about 8 years ago. I didn't think too much about it because the bald spots always grew back and were small enough to cover up with my own hair. It wasn't until about two years ago that it advanced to AT when all the hair on my head fell out over the course of a couple months and then AU just about one year ago when the hairs on my body fell out as well.

It has been aggravating trying to figure out this strange condition and does contribute to a bit of insecurity, but I think it has also made me a stronger, more optimistic person. After all, it is only hair, and I am a healthy, happy person and that is what matters!

Even though I have lived in the same area all my life, I love to travel and definitely have the travel bug in me! I enjoy my job as a sonographer and I have wonderful friends, family, and coworkers who help me to focus on the important things in life.

I refuse to let my bald head keep me down!

Hi Kerry, I love your wigs, where do you usually buy them? Thanks!

that's really cool that you have found a boutique that you trust and love. I only have synthetic at the moment as I'm still not sure if I'm willing to splash out more money on real hair wigs. But we will see. :) i'm just starting to get into getting different wigs and I have 3 more arriving soon and I can't wait for them to get here so that I can try them on!
