I am a 33 year old mother of three and amongst other health problems I developed Alopecia Universalis in my 7 month of pregnancy, so a year and a half ago. I have been receiving treatments with a little success (partial eyebrows!!) Maybe theres some hope for me yet!! :)
Glad that things are going well for you Robynn. I guess you mean Lee Anne Butlers book. I didn't get it as I felt it was more for women than men. How is it?
As for Jon -at the start of high school Jon wasn't at all comfortable. He also refused to go to school for 2 terms last year. He has since changed to a smaller school and is alot happier so far this year. The kids are more accepting. He still has a hard time accepting having AU himself. He does't like it at all. I am hoping that things will get easier for him as he gets older.
Hi Robynn
Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you.
You are right that living with AU isn't easy to get used to. I know that he will become more comfortable with it as he gets older. We just have to get through the next few years until he is mature enough to look at things in a different light and to be thankful that he doesn't suffer from anything worse.
Hey! Thank you so much for letting me know how much you like the book and that you're passing it on to your mom and friends!
Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with --
and big hugs to you!
