I have had Alopecia since I was two, but varying stages. I had most of my hair until I was 32 and pregnant with my third child...( I had 101) ways to cover a bald spot, probably not much different than alot of you! At this time I went Totalis losing all my scalp hair...it did come back in after 2 years. I was so greatfull...but alopecia just kind of lurks in the background, plus having it so young I was bound to lose it again! About a year and a half ago when I became the hippest grandma ever...I went AU and have been that way since. I tried Immuno suppresents which made me achey and my legs swell...so the only thing left would be prednisone...hell no! I wont go...I know their are harder things in life than being bald. Last time I lost my hair...I had to wear my wig out, I wasn't comfortable with myself without it (and they have come a long way). This time I very seldom wear a wig...If I want to, or have to dress up I wear one...otherwise I just wear a dambanna. You can find fun ones online.
Hey Glenda! How are you? I havent talked to you in a while and I wanted to drop you a little note. I hope your had a wonderful Christmas and New years! I hope you are doing well now too! It has been super cold here...in the teens alot...and for the south that is darn right COLD! Have you had any luck in finding a human hair wig?

Hi Glenda! How are you doing? It's been a couple of weeks now and I've been thinking about all of the great people that I meet over the conference weekend and I wanted to write to you and see how you were doing. I loved seeing pictures of your family on your page :) I think I am going to try to add some more pictures on my page soon. It's fun to share the good memories with others :)
