- This is a wonderful site and the people are beautiful. I had suffered 7 years, mentally, socially and thought I was alone until this years September 2008, where I have learned that our beauty has always been within our selves. I make my own beautiful wigs for 5 years and with or without them I am glad to be who I am.

Hi, Jan! I wanted to let you know about an event coming up in San Bernardino next month. Comedienne and alopecia patient Georgia Van Cuylenberg will come to the Feldheym Library downtown on April 17th as part of our Script Frenzy celebration. She will talk about her life as a comedy writer, her transition from standup to screen and documentary writing, and her landmark documentary "Baby Let Your Hair Fall Down", about her battle with alopecia. Do you have any videos or resources you recommend for making your own wigs. How much does the material cost? How long does it take to make them? I want to try it.
