About Me:
Hello!
My name is Olga, I am 36, and I live in a small village near Prague in the Czech Republic. I still don't know much about my problem, I didn't care about it for ten years, as it was just one small spot that could not be seen, and one day I realized that hair started to grow on that place again. So I just didn't care. But a few months ago I lost my hair at the very same place as before. And the bald spot started to grow. And there are other small spots, still covered with my strong good hair. But... for how long? I don't know. So that's why I am here. I am searching for a solution, but now I can see it's not easy. I don't believe the doctors can help me. Hope I am wrong.

You know, I was always proud about my hair... sad, isn't it? I'm still shocked, when I browse other members' pictures and imagine myself wearing a wig. I know it doesn't have to come to that point, but still - all is possible.

I have three children, their hair is ok. I got tearful today, when I saw pictures of bald headed kids. Better for me to lose my hair then for my sweet little kids. I hope they will never need to visit this site.

Olga, you speak perfect English! I can see how you would be an excellent translator.
You can get my book on Amazon -- if you read it, let me know how you like it!
As far as herbs for your hair, sorry, nothing works! Spring here comes early, the end of Feburary so it's in its full glory now!

Olga, I am glad you are here and it is for people like you that this site was created. So that nobody has to go through this alone. I remember when I first lost my hair, I felt totally alone and did not meet someone else with the condition for a while. I know if internet was around then, I would have been googling everything I could on alopecia and probably would have loved to have found the site too. I really didn't do anything special, God just chose me for whatever reason to be the one to start it and it caught on. I have to give A LOT of credit to my husband. He kept pushing me to expand my reach and go global, when I was quite "comfortable" being local. But this site is special because everybody helps everybody.
