    I know how important image can be. I'm more comfortable in, and will always wear, a wig but I applaud the women who raise awareness for alopecia by going without.

    Don't ever feel badly about not wanting to go without a wig. It's perfectly fine to keep covered up if that's what you want to do. We all have choices about how we want to appear to the world; and how is it different from wearing makeup or a particular type of clothing?
