About Me:: I am a parent of a child with AU, it started out with AA, but over the years has just made its way to AU. My son started out with AA around the second grade, we have been to so many specialist. We seem to have done just about every treatment. Now as a teenager he seems to be ok with it for the most part. He really has a great group of friends, and they are not bothered at all by it. My problem is with the teachers, they don't ask anything, they just assume "Cancer". My husband and I are going to see if we can bring some light into the school this coming up year. There is just so many people out there that have never even heard about this. I just want to be a great support to him and everyone out there who has alopecia.
