About Me:
I am going through a divorce and have lots of stress and anxiety with it. I have lost almost all of my hair on my head, eyebrows and part of my face. I am also very stressed and worried about my hair loss. I am getting steroid injections that are not working the way they should. I have been getting the injections since December of 2016. I am also applying a steroid ointment and Minoxidil twice a day. I have only gotten a few patches to grow and stay on my head. I am going to start using Anthralin with hopes that this will kick start the regrowth of hair. I eat a relatively healthy diet and get plenty of exercise. Unfortunately the two JAK inhibitor drugs that are available are not covered by insurance and are very expensive. I would like to get involved with clinical trials but have not been able to find any in the Milwaukee Wisconsin area. I have found some in the Chicago area and was wondering if the clinical facilitators would be willing to work with my Dermatologist to administer the shots or drugs that are being used. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Curt
