Nope. I had diffuse AA 4 years ago - lost everything - and then it all came back. Was good for three years. I now have spots behind my right ear and all over my arms. No one can tell. :)
Rob, would love to see your Mr. Clean look. I think it is great that you can laugh at yourself with you friends. It must make having this condition so much easier. Enjoy the rest of your summer! Cindy
Hi Rob, stay positive as you are now and you will be fine getting through this. I think guys who are bald look handsome. Girls like bald guys for some reason. Are you a senior this year or college freshmen? I know HS kids can be brutal and this is a true testament of who your real friends are. What do you parents say?
Hi Rob, your handsome with or without hair! How are you doing? My 7yr old daughter has had alopecia for 2 yrs now. For the first time in a year she is wig free. She still has no facial hair, but that is okay. Sam is pretty cool with this condition and never looked at as impacting her life in a negative way. You look like a strong guy that will do just fine no matter what happens. She is doing a treatment called SADBE, squaric acid. The only thing that has worked for her..Cindy

What were the oils you were using? Where did you get them?
I got the steriod injections at the begining but they didnt work at all so I stopped.
My daily routine is Minoxidil 5% twice a day, 5mg Biotin once a day, 2000iu Vitamin D once a day, and a multivitamin once a day.

Nope, I'm from Canastota. I actually worked with a guy who had it too - but I never talked to him about it.
Hey - I live in the same town and I have AA as well. :) I was surprised to find someone else.

At least you kept the eyebrows. I'm guessing eyelashes too?
This alopecia is something else.
Hopefully you will regrow again.
I'm experiencing some regrowth. We'll see what happens.
