Thank you so much for your kinds words, Elizabeth. I wish I could be your hair dresser, too. It's so good to talk to other women going through what I'm going through and be real and honest about it. YOU are beautiful too! Inside and out. I can't believe that hairdresser... what a b! I am sure that the experience with you taught her a lot about compassion and to watch her mouth. I am blessed to have a mother who is a hair dresser so I have privacy and some comfort getting my hair cut, although it's still anxiety provoking. She is understanding and compassionate, but also sticks her foot in her mouth a lot. I've come to the conclusion that it's just "the way it is" for now. I keep faith that by educating the people around me, maybe it could open their minds. Blessings and hugs!
You know, it has always bothered me when friends or family tell me i'm being paranoid. I can darn well tell whether someone is looking at my eyes or my hair when i'm talking to them. Geez.
