Hi Sharla, I have alopecia totalis for over 20 years and just 3 months ago started going to a support group. I've started my own motivational get-together for all of us Alopecians. hey sharla! yes the treatment im currently using is from Shmuel Gonen, he's an israeli schientist/researcher doctor (?) and and sent me some all natural treatments and my eyebrows have begun to grow back as well as some of my hair...its growing back like baby hair and its very straight some of it is even white...my eyelashes are growing in straight and long too. I also use rapid lash to help it along ;-) what have you tried? if you like I can give you Mr.Gonen's email address, he resonds really quickly and hes very kind on the phone...let me know! best of luck!

My daughter has had alopecia since she was 4. She is now 7. I am the one though having the hardest time coping.

I am good. My daughter just started school last week and I start nursing school on monday so it will be hectic around here. How long have you had alopecia?

Hi sharla i too have alopecia universalis and suffered with it since i was 2 yrs old. im now 25 with two beautiful kids and currently going to nursing school. So i know exactly what u are going thru. For a long time i thought i was the only one going thru this till i found this website. Im glad i found people like me. If you ever wanna chat im here. And girl keep doing your thang cause you look nice in your pic

Hi Sharla I too have alopecia universalis and had since I was 2 yrs old. I never understood what I had until I became a adult. I'm now 25. I understand what you're going through. I don't have anyone to talk to about this. If I do try to talk talk about it, i end up in tears. I'm so glad I found this website. For a long time, I swear I thought I was the only one going through this.

That is GREAT! I would like to hold them here in Monroe, NY 10950. Unless I can work something out with a location at a mid way point between Jersey and here, which would be Suffern, NY. How far are you?
I am planning on having lots of fun and building a strong support system for our fellow friends with Alopecia. Do you know anyone else interested in joining? I am planning on making flers to post as well. The first step is putting the group together and then accomadating the location to fit as many needs as possible. :-)
