Sis, you have a ministry. I am thankful for all that you shared. I went to Aruba last summer and visited the Aloe factory. I spent too much money on Aloe and when I saw your video where you took the aloe plant and rubbed it in your hair, I did the same thing. I have my wig on today and I hate it. I'm taking biotin and will pick up my colbetesol prescription today. Did you use any of that? Unfortunately, the stress is at work. I have a big grant due in January and my boss has been putting pressure on me to have a draft this summer. I've already talked to him, but I need to work on me as well. Thank you for your advice and responding. I have pictures on my site.
My sister in Christ, you are truly an amazing and wonderful woman. Such an impact on women and men who has/is still suffering from alopecia. You look amazing. It's been a while since being on the site. I have been enjoying my gift.
Thank you for the lovely welcome. It was a while ago. I dont' use this site much and it seems a bit complex. I'm just getting used to it. Hope you are well. Hugs ella xx
Hi Theresa! Yes, there is a group in the Houston area (Clearlake). They had a get-together not too long ago, but I was unable to attend. Donna Jerz is the organizer. I can PM her email address when I get home.
Wow - I needed your inspiration today. This hair loss for me has been such a test of my faith. I am trying to figure out what lesson does God want me to learn from this. But I have not figured it out yet. This hair lost has me captive and I am letting it control my life.
Hi Theresa, I really liked your last blog. I will respond to it shortly, but we just got back into town from and funderal and I want to put some thought and time into it. But, thank you very much for sharing your thoughts.
Hi Theresa. I am new to alopecia world, and I saw your video this morning. I just wanted to say thank you. It was truly a blessing to me. I had my first aggressive flare-up of alopecia when I was 23 yrs old, and under a lot of pressure and stress (I am now 27). When I'm very stressed, it flares up, and I experienced a flare yesterday. I was feeling really down, but your video encouraged me so much. Thank you again, and may God continue to bless you, lovely lady!
Today is do-able. If I can handle all the crap, so can you. Seek some miracles today...wherever you go. Meet three new people and see what you learn...about THEM!
Thanks, Theresa...I was again blessed with Mike & DeeDee while in Baltimore at the Empowerment Temple Church...They are so funny..I just love hearing wisdom from them. Valentine's day was 31 yrs for hubby and myself...to God be the Glory...keeping living, loving and appreciating life.
Hi Theresa,
Thank you for that, it's always good to receive a message from some one. I wanted to let you know, I cut off all my hair. I didn't go all the way bald but let's just say I know when it's cold outside. It was such a struggle in the beginning, to deal with. I cried like a big baby in the shop, the day it was cut and I had everyone in the shop wanting to cry. My stylest had to stop and tell me to stop before she begain to cry. At one moment she took my hands and had my feel that the hair was gone and at that moment, it hit me that my life was about to change. She just held me as my tears fell and it was hard. Day by day, I'm taking it pretty slow still trying to understand but no longer questioning Gods reasons.
