Hi Liselle! You sent me a friend request several months ago. I wanted to apologize for not getting back to you sooner...I haven't been active on this site for quite a while. But I'm back now, so if you still are in need of a friend, please drop by my page. :o)

Hi my friend! Just thought I would drop in and say hello! I haven't done that in a while, so figured today is the day!! So hello! Hope things are well!
Lisselle,
I've decided to look up that website and boy do I ever find it useful, I can ask anything from how to care for a wig to how bad or how good I am feeling and everyone is justt so friendly on there,,yvm for menioning that post:)
Liselle, don't palpitate !! Easy, easy..it is just a wig!! LOL. Yes, I feel the prodigy is poufy for me, since my normal real hair is and was always totally flat on my head, and fine, thin hair. Don't get me wrong, it is a cute wig, I have one of the blonde colors, can't recall the color number, but I got the nerve to cut my own bangs in, thinking it would look better, but now, the cut on the bangs ...well, I guess I shouldn't have cut them. Let's just put it like that !! They need to learn to stay down better!! So, if you want to cut bangs, have someone who knows how to do it, cut them...Better yet, just learn to do without bangs. It is a cute wig, and the color is nice. Good luck with the wig. It is still better than the stuff we both have left on our heads!!! Let me know how it goes!!! Have a great weekend.
Thanks Liselle,
it's such a weird condition to have. Before being diagnosed i just thought old men went bald! It's been two years and i've just found this site. I'm really happy because it's nice to have other people dealing with the same stuff.
You just made my day with your lovely comment to my profile! Yes, AW is so wonderful because it makes us realize we're not alone on this journey.
Ah, those 4 wigs I bought....I gave one (my favorite, that I'm wearing in my Alternatives to Wearing a Wig video) to a friend with cancer, and she wore it all the time for over a year. I gave another one to another woman. One wig died an ignominious death after accidentally being dropped from my car in a supermarket parking lot (road kill), and the only one I still own is stuck somewhere in my closet - I haven't seen it in about 2 years. ( ;-) Mary
Hi Liselle, I hope you didn't take my earlier comment about getting a wig as meaning I think you should wear one. What I advocate is doing what you want - not what other people want or expect you to be or to do.
When I was in college and well into my twenties I'd wear wigs of different colors and styles as well as going out and about bald (I'd shave off what would grow). Now this was kinda unusual at least for a heterosexual man, but I found that I dated more and it not only gave me something to help reach out to people in my Christian ministry, the girls just liked my different looks and it made a statement about feeling good enough about myself that I also liked others who had self esteem issues. Anyway I truly want what's best for you, and if you aren't doing or looking like you want to I sure hope you have the support you need to do and be Liselle! I think you'll be beautiful shaved bald, partly bald, wigged, part time wigged or multi-wigged.
God bless,
Larry
Thank You Liselle, I tried to wish just my friends on here that are listed as single a happy Valentines Day thinking that some of them might not have anyone to do that and I realized I had 146 friends on here and most of them are single…maybe a nice general e-mail next time :)

hi , lost this page somehow
where in aus are you from . I'm in perth
I would love to go scuba diving down under. From all the nature shows your country sounds fascinating. I hope to visit it one day.
Don't sweat the wig, er, pun not intended. There are other ways to cover your head if you aren't comfortable being openly bald.
Take care of yourself and God bless,
Larry
Hi Liselle.
I've been away for a long time so I'm sending a 'hello, I'm back' to all the people on my friends list.
God bless,
Larry
