I've had AA pretty much my entire life. When I was little I had a patches of hair that just never grew. That went into remission for a few years then came back when I was in high school. I've been doing scalp injections for the last decade probably. It keeps the AA in check, but I never have had full re-growth. My AA has always been pretty easy to cover up, until the last six months when I developed a patch towards the top of my head. My hair is noticably thinner (to me anyway) and I'm…

Hi! My name is Chris. I have had AA for 8 years and never had any injections in my scalp. I found it to be invasive and knew then that it wasn't the way for me. I shaved my head for a few years and have grown it out where it does grow. I go to the same barber now and have it cut nicely despite the patches. Regardless, I wear a hat all the time. I am in the service business and talk with many people in person everyday. I wish nothing more than to not wear a hat all the time.
I have recently started an alkaline diet. I was acidic and never knew about any of that. I have also started taking Gotu Kola. (look it up). It took a week for my body to become alkaline and I have stayed alkaline. I am also incorporating other organic nutrients/vitamins. going with "The China study" theory. resetting my body naturally. giving it a shot anyway. Just thought I would share and say never give up.
How are you today?
