Hi! Every one. I was diagnosed with alopecia universalis about 17 years or so ago at the age of 9. I lost every hair on my body from head to toe. With being so young I dindt want to talk about why I didn't have hair to other people.
Durring my 6 grade year of school my class mates made so much fun of me I begged my dad for a whole year every morning to let me stay home. I didn't win the battle to often. But I'm glad he made me go cause now I'm a stronger person. I Tryed the whole wig thing my 7th grade. And got made fun of more, and one day in pe. Some of the guys jumped up on the rim of the basket ball to get a doge ball and when he jumped down he landed on me knocking off my wig in front f the whole class. I'd never felt so embearrest in my life.
Then my sophomore year I decided I don't care what other people think. IM ME AN NOT GONNA CHANGE 4 NO ONE!!!!!!
I still struggle with my condition all the time, iv found its a little eaiser if u know more about it. U can explain it to ppl better! I often use "I'm allergic to my hair and my body just don't like it"
Well here is kinda my story I'd love to here yours!
