Has anyone heard of/tried Nioxin?

- Hello. I'm a 22 year old mother to a beautiful 8 month old daughter and have the most amazing husband in the world. I have had Alopecia since I was 12 years old. It was a very very hard time for me. My started wearing wigs from Hairclub for men and women, but it got expensive so I had to stop. When I was pregnant with my daughter my hair grew back and I didn't need bandanas or wigs anymore. Now My hair is falling out again. I am really devastated right now because when I [put on a wig my daughter cried. I belive I am going to shave my hair because I think it is or will be easier BEING bald than GOING bald. I love life very much, and I am tahnkful for everything I have in my life.

I am sorry you are having a hard time with your alopecia. I know how you feel. I have had alopecia for about 30 years and wrote a book about it called, "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" You might want to get it -- it will give you a lot of helpful information, including research, medical, treatment , inspirational stories from other women, and some humor, too!
