My daughter is 9 years old and was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata when she was 8. She has recently started to lose her eye brow hairs, eyelashes and leg hairs and so we are waiting to see her consultant again.

I have an excellent solution for eyebrows! I use temporary tattoo eyebrows that go on with water and can last for several days. They are really inexpensive and they look natural. They have small sizes for kids. Go to www.beauti-full-brows.com. I've been using them for years.
As far as how best to support her, I have a lot of information about that in my book (you can read more about that on my page). I think you two might like reading it together...not only does it have lots of info, it's also a fun read. The main thing is to help her realize that the most important thing we are here to learn is how to bring out the beauty from within (from your heart, not on top of your head!). Meanwhile, let me know if there are any more specific questions you have and I will be happy to help as much as I can.
Hello and welcome, Joanna!
How are you and your daughter doing today?
Tell her I don't have any brow hairs or eyelashes either. The leg hairs I can live without!
