I've had alopecia for about 25 years. It began when I was pregnant with my youngest child. I've tried everything possible. You name it, I put my body through it to try to save my hair. Nothing worked. I was devastated because my husband first noticed me because of my hair. Long, thick and beautiful. Turns out, he would love with or without hair. He is my rock and has been for 30 years now.

Wow, you've never been "detected?" That is great! I used to have people ask me all the time if I had a wig, and I knew that something had to change! Finally I found someone who knew how to style them (the human hair ones) so they didn't look like haystacks.
Thanks for checking on me. I really like your name, too. That's also my middle name. Leslie Ann. What a small world.
I'm doing okay with my Alopecia. Some days it really bothers me other days I think "WOW! If this is as bad as my life gets, that's pretty damn good!" I've had AT for about 21 years now. I really don't think about it much, unless I know I'm going to see someone that I haven't seen in many years. I do wonder sometimes, if people can tell I'm wearing a wig. Which is stupid, because no one has ever know. Even at the salon with my daughter, the hair dresser said what pretty hair I had and even felt it. She didn't realize it was a wig.

Just thought I would see how you are doing with your alopecia. I've had it for 30 years.
