About Me:
I'm 32, I live with my girlfriend and our 18 month old son. I have alopecia totalis. I still have some hair but it's leaving me quite fast. I also have Vitiligo in some of the same spots as the alopecia. I have been bald ( male pattern baldness ) for years and have shaved my head with a razor for years too. I never had a problem with being bald, in fact I like the way I look bald. With my eyebrows and beard leaving me more recently, I had trouble coping with it but have come to terms with it and like anything else, I just got used to it and it rarely bothers me these days. I know all too well how devastating Alopecia can be to your self-confidence, and the stress that comes with all of it.
