Yes. In Guelph, ON, Canada there is an alopecia weekend I believe but I have not been able to attend as I am about 6 hours away. There is no such gathering in Ottawa that I am aware of or I would attend to check it out.

If you go to www.naaf.org (The National Alopecia Areata Foundation), they have free videos and written material that can help you introduce your school, students and co-workers about alopecia.
