Have been full fled alopecian since 2006. It took some time getting use to my new look, but this is who I am! I am enjoying the confidence it brings even though it's times when I miss my ponytails.

I had to embrace and accept the new me so I can continue to live my life to the fullest.

OMG!!!!! It is so amazing how feel I, I never thought for one second that I was in bondage by wearing my wigs, but man once I stopped the feeling of acceptance of self was over powering. FREE, FREE, FREE that's how I feel just FREE.

Thanks for the encouraging words Sherry. But it took much more than me to get this rolling. Especially the encouragement and work of my husband and then this community took it to a whole new level. Right from the first weekend people joined and started participating. The participation is amazing and for that reason our vision for the site became a reality.
