- I am a young woman that no longer wants to be ashamed of alopecia. I want to regain my confidence. I don't want for anything in life to hold me back from my goals and dreams. I am in the military and I am almost done with my first deployment. I learned alot about my self through this deployment. Alopecia does not define me as a woman. I am beautiful inside and out. I can do anything that I set my mind to. By joining alopecia world I am taking a step and ready for change.
