Hi, after a surgical memopause in 1993 my hair began to thin in the top and handfuls would come out in my comb each day. I still do not know the reason. Also my sides are very thin. I am married and have 4 children, all grown now. I love to read romance and mystery books.
Are you age 18 or older?

Hi Carol,
I didn't realize surgical menopause could cause your hair to fall out, thanks for the info. I have AA and have had it for the past 42 years, but life is good, stay strong!

How are you doing? Are you wearing wigs or scalp makeup? Hair extensions help.
