Is it possible for us AW friends to arrange BEFORE NAAF to meet up at a certain time early on in the convention? In other words, could we have an Alopecia World gathering the first night or something like that?

Hey everybody! I just had an idea. Watch rj's video about the Dancing Guy here if you haven't see it:

Here's my idea: at NAAF next year, we can make our own version of this video! We could gather a bunch of us off camera -as many as possible - and stage this in a public setting where there are unsuspecting non-alopecians - sort of a BALD FLASH MOB! I'm sure it would get lots of hits on YouTube!

Just imagine the same kind of scene: music starts playing from a boombox, and one bald woman starts dancing (I hereby volunteer). Then imagine another, and another jumping in, throwing off their head covering, until there was a MOB of bald people boogying! (Particularly effective if we have lots of bald women, since bald guys are now "out" everywhere.)

We can have people videoing it. As a dance teacher, I could even arrange and teach participants a simple routine so that we'd have the full "flash mob" vibe going. Or, we could just boogie free-style!

Let's do it! At the end of the video, we could put "International Alopecia Day 2011, and the date.

new to the whole world of alopecia...i am 17, and i started losing my hair in the beginning of april 2010. what exactly is this conference? again, because i am new, i am not sure what goes on at it, but it seems like a great thing and i would love to consider attending!
