Do you know a truffle from a turkey? Have you ever tried Kona Nigari Deep Sea Water at £200 a litre? Or even a frozen Haute Chocolate Cake that costs £12000?

Well to set the record straight we are all about to start an amazing journey into our own culinary delights to share with our family and friends. The BeBold Bake has been organised to raise awareness and funds for the Summer Childrens' Alopecia Camp and the Alopecia Conference, but we want to do more!

The concept is simple and is really down to your own imagination. Here are some useful ideas:

Organise a BeBold Bake Day at work or school and sell your wonderful cakes.
Show your skills by creating some BeBold Kitchen Masterpieces and sell your finest produce to your friends.

Turn your hand to become a BeBold Confectionary Wizard and tempt your friends to the luxury of sugar. Host your own BeBold Dinner Party where your quests have to pay for your culinary services.

To be included in this exciting event simply organise your fun filled adventure and sell your produce. Take out your costs and send us your profits, help us make someone elses day. We really encourage you to make this as fun as possible and along the way please raise awareness for the condition alopecia. Tell people about BeBold and let them know how we are all helping to grow self esteem and confidence in abundance.

To participate you decide how much time you can preciously afford. This event is open to all age groups and we really encourage you to get the children involved. We want you to share your memorable moments and pictures on the BeBold website, showing just how much fun you have had along the way!

The BeBold Bake week will run from 16th April 2012 – 23rd April 2012. Please do not worry if your event falls outside this timeframe this is just an indication to co-ordinate maximum awareness.

As we are all now thinking about our cooking skills we would like you to turn your attention to your favourite recipes???

The BeBold Bake will be translated into an online book featuring 100 carefully selected recipes. Available for download in a number of formats including ibook etc. The BeBold Bake Volume 1 will be available early Summer 2012.

We would like this publication to be unique. To enter and stand a chance to have your recipe published simply send an email to bake@bebold.org.uk detailing your recipe and cooking instructions, a nice picture of your dish (Hi Res) and a little about yourself including a picture if you wish to be identified.

The world is not big enough for all of us! Where ever you may be please feel free to contribute.
