I am the 2010 Event Planning Chair Person for the Wigs For Kids Zoo Walk & 5K Run this year at the Cleveland Metro Park Zoo in Cleveland, OH on Saturday, July 31st. The mission of Wigs for Kids, based out of Westlake, OH, is to provide free hair replacement systems to any eligible child who has lost hair as a result of chemotherapy, radiation treatments, alopecia, burns, or other medical circumstances. We strive to educate the medical community and the public on the issues, and challenges and available options for children with hair loss.
