Hello Fellow Alopecians!  There is so much info on ordering wigs, however not as much information about the condition of these wigs a few months or a year after they're ordered.  I've had cheap indian remy wigs last me two to three years, and some more expensive European hair wigs last less than a year.  I'm so curious to know how others' wigs are holding up at the one year mark ... would love to see photos and review of one year old wigs!  And please share name of manufacturer, where you ordered, and approx. price point.

Thrilling news! So glad you're happy!  YEAH!!!!     I dont see the " ONYZ" as part of their top of the line European Collection  or on the web at all....can u illuminate or show a photo? Is it hand tied....price paid? Thanks!!!!

I posted two photos.  SCARY. never done this before.  Mine cost about $1,500. I shall try to post more details..but for now, see my photos below.  use discretion in sharing please.

Hi Rose, that's so great to hear!  Would love to see a photo if you feel comfortable sharing. :)

I posted two photos. YIKES. never put my pictures out there before.  Please use discretion in sharing.  I am 55.  Hubby is 8 years older. I love it that I have NO GREY hair!

Okay Andrea... for the first time ever, I am putting my photo out here. With my new GEMTRESS wig. I bought it in addition to my FREEDOM piece. I needed air movement on my head. It's working great so far. No, the hair is not as good as FREEDOM's pieces, but the Remy Human Hair looks natural and the fit is perfect and price was wonderful. I wear it in a low pony tail. I so love not being so hot all the time. And it's not due to hot flashes. It's due to taking my six year old grandson to the Fair in 90 degree heat!  I did great. So... here are two photos, with my hubby. I am 55. Hubby is 8 years older. Please use discretion in sharing my photos. I've never done this before! thanks

Thank you for sharing your photos, you look great in your Freedom hair the color is so nice too and you look way younger than 55.  Did you buy your freedom on line? I am really worried to buy any thing on line again and I really need a new wig with a fare price. I already paid $$$$ for Follea life style 10/15  in January online, which is not going to last long  and I only use it twice a week.

Gail.. thanks for the kind words... to answer your questions:  NO, you cannot buy a FREEDOM piece online. You have to buy from a rep. My rep has the laser machine so that the fit cap is made 100% accurate. She helped me pick the color and length. A couple trips to a  hair stylists after I got it has it where I like it now -- bangs, a little longer on top, some layering, good tendrils to hide the wig line, etc. Where do you live? THAT determines which FREEDOM rep you work with.

I am SO SORRY you bought a Follea. I could write a book on my experiences with Peggy Knight (the US Follea owner, who then hires reps through out the US).   The Follea pieces are so over priced. The hair is not virgin, unprocessed and therefore... it's a cheap quality wig sold at an outrageous price.

Part of the reason I chose to buy a GEMTRESS as an addition to my hair piece collection, was I knew what I was getting. An absolutely perfect fit, perfect color, breathable, affordable piece BUT, with processed hair. Called Remy hair. It may be good enough for other people.  It's only good enough for me as I only wear it in a low pony, outdoors, when I need to be cooler.

the only wigs I buy online are synthetic ones as they are inexpensive, and I know I can have them cut and styled for exercising, walking on the beach, working in the yard... etc. The last one I bought has a skin top so it looks good from the top. I put clips and bobby pins in to hold loose hairs, but also, to make it look less wiggy. I sure wish there was one answer for us all....

I've learned a lot from this thread... conditioning products.. other companies.. Hope this helps!

OKAY... I"M DOING IT... posting a photo of me with my beach hair. here's what you can do with a cheap synthetic. This piece is about 10 years old.

Thanks for sharing your new and older hair additions! Congrats!!! And you look awesome!!!

You look great!

Thank you I just start to learn from this thread and newly from facebook but still don't know which wig would be better only not Follea any more.  I am sorry; about Freedom wig I made a mistake because I already met Jeniffer she is so nice and honest but is really hard to buy another expensive wig for this year, and I don't know if I can wear the cap.
