Has anyone heard or is there any proof that your hair will grow back once you go through monopause. My friend swears it will. Anyone have any knowledge on that?

She feels that since my hair grew back when I was pregnant with my daughter (which I've heard once before about someone else) she thinks it's all hormones and when I start menopause that it will grow back.
I'm 41, probably not going through the beginning of it, but I (in the last couple of months) have gotten a lot of hair on my head. I just wish it wasn't so spotty. I'm hoping it will fill in and I can give my wig a break forever.
