Hey guys, i am Ange and am 26 yrs old, i had AA for 4 years and have been AU 12 years, what i am wondering if it is hereditary or not, my mum also has AU and has been for about 10 yrs, but i am wondering if anyone else has family members with alopecia and if it actually is hereditary or not?? also i have been diagnosed with an under active thyroid and my doc says its due 2 having a low immune system which is part of having alopecia, has anyone ever heard of this???
