Hey everyone I have had alopecia areata for about just over a year now first started off with a small patch of hairloss which grew bigger in size at the back of my hair then a few patches of smaller hair loss on the sides of my hair and all the areas which i lost my hair on has now grown back apart from the back of my hair which was the first patch to have appeared from the start and is still there it is not growing in size or getting smaller and has been there for the longest amount of time its basically stuck like that for about 5 months and i have had no other hair loss or growth ...My main question is for the people who have had alopecia areata I know the time cycle for the hair to grow back is different for everyone since it is completely random but I was just wondering how long some people have had AA for?
