AA's affect on eyebrows and herbal treatments?

I have Alopecia Areata, and I am wondering if anyone has ever lost their eyebrows with having AA, or can you only loose them if it goes to Universalis? I have noticed I dont have to pluck as much but I dont know if its all in my head because Im scared to loose there?? Also has anyone tried herbal treatments with any success??

Hi,

I have AA and only my left eyebrow is falling out...it started near the middle and is slowly working its way across...my dermatologist gave me cortisone cream to use on it, however she warned that it may not have any effect because the hair follicles are deeper and often cannot be reached simply by applying cream...we'll see how it goes...I'm desperate to try anything at this point!
