Advice: Need full proof waterproof eyebrow shadow? Pencil? Liner?
hi guys! i know that eyebrow make up is in the discussion, but i need your advice! recently i was on vacation in antigua (!), and i was in the water (below the waist) and didn't want to get my hair/face wet for obvious reasons. i use a shadow to fill/draw in my eyebrow, however, a wave accidentally took me down completely, and you guessed it, bye bye eyebrow. it was sooo embarrassing. so i need something not just splash proof, literally waterproof, where i can swim and not worry that my eyebrow is gone! i'm returning to the islands again, and need something that will stand against, the sun, salt water, etc. any advice would be greatly appreciated! (it makes me sad that i avoid going underwater cause of my eyebrows! =( so i'd really like to go back and not worry or think about it this time!) thank you for your input! and of course, support!

Chanel has a pencil that is very hard to rub off. it sort of gets into the pores a bit. It's called Precision Brow Definer. I would have the Chanel vendor put some on the back of your hand and then see what happens during the day if you try to just wear it about; run your hands under water and give it a rub test.
I can also tell you in a private message about the sealer I use to keep my color in place all day. Layering both could be a good strategy. Ok.....I just put some sealer (it's matte unlike Shelaq which is shiny)over the Chanel and ran my hand under water for half a minute. The sealer over Chanel is holding the color better than the Chanel alone. Couldn't simulate waves though. ;-)
Also, take a look at temporary tattoos from beauti-full-brows.com . Practice first before going out. Placement is the tricky part.

If this is the BGDL Brow Sealer she is talking about and is now their standard Sealer, it's super durable and she's right. The She-Laq was shiny. Her Sealer has no smell at all.

Try the Color Bar or Mabelline revolving eyeliner. They r water proof & doesnt come off even if they get wet with water or sweat.

I finally had my eyebrows tattooed after experiencing vanishing eyebrows last summer :) It wasn't too expensive, and it is so nice to wake up and have one less thing to worry about!
