Ok guys I'm looking for your opinions and advise. I have AA. I'm 39 and really looking to do something positive with this life sentence so here's my idea and I want you to tell me if it will work!! My background is sales, marketing and food. I've found an amazing village in the mountains in northern tuscany. There is a large property in this village which I intend to buy and turn into a retreat for alopecia sufferers. There is a large garden about 100yds from the house which overlooks the town below. The scenery is absolutely spectacular. I've spent the last 2 summers staying in this little piece of heaven in a rented house and for the first time in 23 years I was comfortable wearing scarves. This was an amazing milestone for me. This place just oozes tranquility. I'm proposing to have a boutique style guesthouse incorporating good food, good wine and good fun! I'm hoping to have yoga, meditation, Pilates, painting, hill walking, cooking classes, and I've lots more ideas too. The village is 10 mins from a beautiful town with quaint cobbled streets and lovely restaurants, it is just over an hour from pisa, and 2 hours from Florence and Bologna with Siena nearby aswell. So realistically it could be an in between stop for anybody wanting to explore Tuscany. I'm open to suggestions or if anyone has stayed somewhere like this I'd greatly appreciate your thoughts. Wouldn't it be nice to be in a majority on hols rather than a minority:-) Imagine someone telling you your scarf is lovely and asking where you get your hairpieces instead of staring at you with sad eyes because they think you have only 6 months to live... Or exchanging stories with like minded people over a glass of vino Rosso.... Surely nobody can understand the feeling of your wig being blown across the road on a windy day like a fellow sufferer! How nice would it be for your partner/family to watch you truly relax on holidays. This is my dream.....just gotta learn the language and put it all in place... Do u think it will work?
