My career training has a requirement that hair must be worn tied back fully or up in a high bun. I am horrified and having the scary thought of dropping out.
Has anyone had to deal with this and how do you get around it?
How do you get a wig to go up in a pony tail? 5 days a week every week for the rest of its life looking realistic?
I don't have any experience with lace wigs, but from what I think I understand you have to glue them to your head and re-do them like once a week? I don't want to sleep in them, or wear it all the time, how do you shower?
I have aa so have to continuously shave my head to get any wig to tape.
i'm super stressing
I only have one wig that cost me a freaking fortune as a starving college student I am still trying to pay off!
How do we survive like this on a budget? If there is anyone in the los angeles area who knows of a place that can help me I would be so grateful. Googleing wig shops has taken me to some horrific and cruel, to bank crying expensive places so far so I am scared and stuck at this point.

If you wear synthetic wigs and the job is a restaurant job, the heat around the kitchen will friz and ruin the wig. Also, the smells of food, chemicals or smoke may be absorbed by the wig fibers. You may consider changing jobs to feel more secure. This is why I went into teaching: mostly indoors, away from things that could ruin synthetic wigs.
no, nothing to do with food, but I hate synthetic wigs anyhow. It's nursing training so I need to be able to perform cpr without my hair being a factor. They are strict about dress codes.
Could you tell me more about the type of lace wigs you can take off every day? do you just use a bit of wig tape? I would think that the lace would be too fragile to hold up
Thank you. I'll check it out.
they have, and I am sure once I get a job they would be more lenient, but this training and clinical is very strict. hair must be pinned back, like any bangs need to be out of the way, so everything hanging down to cover a wig hair line needs to be not there
