Alopecia and flaky scalp help?

Hi,

I have Androgenous Alopecia and have been losing my hair for as long as my scalp has been flaky... pretty much since I hit puberty.  I've tried everything from tar shampoo to head&shoulders to no poo but whatever I try I can't stop the flaking.  Now that I'm shaving my head, the problem seems to be worse.

Any suggestions out there?  Do others have this problem?
