Hello, I have alopecia and hashimotos and just wondered if anyone else has both and if they have ever tried anything homopathic vs medical to treat either or both. I am thinking of trying different herbs and thought I would see if anyone else has had luck.

I have alopecia and hypothyroidism,I have tried some natural treatments.I take synthroid and also started to take thymus or thymulous to help keep the hormones normal throughout the day>I also tried some herbal pills for alopecia along with biotin shampoo and conditioner. They helped regrow some of my hair but I have alopecia universalis so it wasn't enough for me to have a full head of hair so I stopped.I found it very time consuming. If I still had AA I would defiantly use the biotin and the herbal pills though.I just think at the stage i'm at and also where I am at emotionally in my life it is easier not to do anything extra.I do think the biotin is amazing though. It gave me regrowth when no medical treatments could.
I have AA and my mother has Hashimoto's.
We are both the first for these in our family.
