Lost very very big blotches of my hair in back off my head expanding to sides underneath my remaining hair i have left ... started in the beginning of may i started steroid injections went about 3 times now alittle hair is growing where they injection alot of hair growing white .. my question is my remaining hair is still thinning out and im loosing hair everday not the normal amount before i had alopecia i put my fingers thru my hair gently and it just comes out or in the shower is there anything i can do to save the hair i have left ??? i tried special shampoo's been to 3 different kind of doctors they tell me its stress ?? i also have hashimoto's thyroid disease but my levels are in normal range again and the dr say its not from my thyroid my nails are also peeling is that related to alopecia ?? how long does alopecia areata to run its course ??? also my spots seem to be expanding slowing but surely while some spots are growing back with injections but alot is white hair ... please if anyone has any info let me know thank you
