Alopecia Areata Research Summit 2014?

Hey, 

I seen this about last week and I was wondering, what is it exactly. Heres the link:

Is it something with they may be announcing something new like maybe new medication or a step forward in treating Alopecia? They say its on Dec 4. Anyone familiar with this? please explain
