Alopecia totalis

Just wondering I started losing hair this past November just a few patches then it started coming out by the handfuls in May. dr just diagnosed me with alopecia totalis although my hair hasn't completely fallen out I'm curious how long it takes. I'm just tired of dealing w/ it everyday

Everybody is different.  Alopecia is an individual as the people that have the condition.

I get tired of it too. Which is why I wax my eyebrows and shave my head to get it over with. Rosy is right, it's different for everyone. I have Areata, so it's patchy like "I'm growing back - SYKE!" It's a way to take your control back I think :) It gets better and sometimes it sucks. There are so many people here that know a little of what you're going through and will support you.
