Last year our family attended The National Alopecia Areata Foundations Conference this year we were thinking of attending the CAP kids conference called Alopeciapolooza in Philadelphia. It is free for all children with alopecia and $125 per family member after that. the dates are 8/7 - 8/9

Is anyone else planning on attending?

Yes.. I will be there and will be teaching my techniques for brow make-up to parents and children and any adults who stop by to visit me there.

I am very excited to be invited to be a part of AlopeciaPalooza.

Also want to let parents know that our website blog posts truly up to date information about research, treatments and news as-it-happens of interest to the alopecia community. I search out the original source articles from researchers and provide the links to published articles and the results of clinical trials.

This sounds great..I am looking for help with brows!!!
We will be taking our 7 year old daughter..We live in Mass..Cindy
do you need to have a child with it or can I go? I would def. go to this...close to me!
This is geared towards children, but I am sure CAP needs volunteers if you wanted to help out. I would contact them.
We'll be there, traveling from MO. Our son will be turning 4 that weekend!
I just sent in my registration this morning. I'm bringing my 9-year-old son who has AU. The CAP organization is really great. We attended the camp last year and my son really connected with the other kids.
I will be coming with my girls who will be 9 and 5. My dd8 has aa. Right now she has most of her hair on her head, has some of her eyebrows and just a few eye lashes. I am very interested in learning about eyebrows especially when you still have some but not all of your own. Right now there is a new girl in dd's class (started a bit over a week ago) who has made some comments regarding dd's eyebrows. We live in MA.
Oh, Lori that is horrible..How is Alyssa dealing with that?
There is a camp? Oh, that is amazing! I was hoping there was for my baby girl when she gets older. Yeah! HOw was it? Where is it?
I want to go and take my daughter she will be turning four that month she has lost all of her hair- head, eyebrows, lashes, even her nose hairs
do you have to have children to attend- i'm 20 . can i go alone?
