It really aggravates me that not a is single doctor or dermatologist knows how you get alopecia for sure . As if there isn't an answer to it . Has.  Okay . I don't believe that something comes from nothing.  There is a cause for it . Everything has a cause and a reason . There is an answer behind it , just medical experts and scientists haven't done enough reaserch to figure it out.  Ivebnever had it before so why do I all of a sudden end up with it at this time in my life ? I am glad that my health hasn't been affected and isn't at steak n I've had blood test after blood test getting checked for everything my doctor could think of . Vitamin levels thyroid lupus diabetes hepatitis a b and c and autoimmune hep you name it and I've been checked for it . Everything was nearly perfect . My health is good . so I know its not health induced . and I am skeptical to believe it's genetic.  I do think that if one of your parents have it then it may be more of a chance that you could get it but that isn't the case with me . There hasn't been a person in my family that has ever had it.  Even four generations back . My my four generations back.  I know that I shouldn't complain because I know that it could be worse and I mean besides the alopecia . Other diseases that CAN kill you. I have a friend that has cystic fibrosis and that I'd usually fatal at some point.  And as much if a pain in the A$$ as alopecia is I'm sure he would swap with me in a heart beat.I would say I lost about 40 percent of the hair on my scalp   I do have a lot of hair growing back some of which is a very light color which I don't know why ? I am originally very dark haired.  My derm says I'm the toughest patient he has had . I sit there and get stuck in the head with a needle about 60 times one after the other and not even whence. Like I said it would be nice if someone would find a permanent cure . Or if they would release the ruxolitinib treatment . My derm said that it has had great results.  Ten people that he knows had alopecia total is and had full and complete regrowth in 4 months .
