Hi, I've been applying anthralin cream on my daughter's head for about 8 weeks now. She's having all the appropriate reactions to it (irritation, staining, etc.). My question is about me though: has anyone other than the alopecian had a reaction to anthralin? For a week now, my right cheek started to be red and itchy about the size of palm, then the redness spreaded to my entire face below the eyebrows, including my eyelids and ears. I don't know if it's a sensitivity I developed. I haven't had any new diet, face product, or detergent. So the only suspect is the anthralin cream. I hope it goes away, because if it means between my daughter's hair potentially come back and my body being itchy, I for sure will pick hair. But the itch is driving me crazy! Thank you for any input you may have!

Hi KK

I would definately get off to the doctor and show him what is happening.  I believe the anthralin cream could effect you as much as your daughter.
