I have been struggling with alopecia for 15 years, the last 6 of which have been total hair loss (universalis).  I am feeling very isolated up here in the UP of Michigan where any services or support for this disease are a 6 to 7 hour drive (not always convenient) or long distance phone call.  I am having a hard time accepting this disease for myself along with other things going on in life.  This just seems to make things even harder to handle.  I need to connect with others who are struggling with and/or overcoming the emotional and mental things we go through.   I am looking to see if there is anyone on this site who is from the UP of Michigan and would like to connect (in person, via e-mail, phone, etc.).
