Its amazing how people were not aware that for years the FDA has allowed Arsenic to be added on our foods just like lead. Personally I think, the FDA shouldn't even allowed arsenic to be allowed on the water, apple juice, rice, etc. FDA claims they have concerns about rice and arsenic and is studying the issue, but in the meantime recommends a varied diet. Really? wow They been knowing for years that its dangerous and can really affect the human body especially babies. As always the FDA is trying to cover its tracks and playing the We didn't know card! Whats even more interesting is how they come out with this report about reducing the intake of rice because of the perctange of asernic yet in the end they tell you, hey but don't worry there is no proof that its dangerous and besides its everywhere in our soil, animals, water etc. And for those americans who easily believe the FDA and the news shame on yous for not damanding to know what's on our food! For those who didn't know arsenic is fed to chickens, turkey, and pigs, and their manure is used as fertilizer for rice and other crops. ABC News, Consumer Reports said: "There are around 100 arsenic-containing drug formulations currently approved for use in healthy chickens to promote growth, improve pigmentation, and prevent disease, including Roxarsone." Roxarsone is an organic arsenic that has lower levels therefor is not consider dangerous. And it turns out that the brown rice has a higer level of arsenic than the less nutritional white rice. So basically its in all the rice products including cereals, oatmeal and baby food even organic rice. A lot of people are just not aware or don't care but the FDA is killing ur makeing us sick slowly for years. Just like water has been link to cancer so has gluten, and organic rice to lung and bladder issues. Wake up people! We need to start looking at our food supply and stop this madness! Slowly the FDA is increasing high levels of arsenic in our foods, not to mention the gov. taking away our rights and freedom of speech. just imagine the next generation how they will live and the alarming rates of new diseases. No wonder a lot of us are loosing our hair with so many chemicals in our shampoos, hair products, our food, our medications. So many people are dying everyday more of cancer and other disease that are killing us slowly. We are basically Guinea Pigs.
